Blade Installation Method

Blade installation is a crucial step in ensuring proper equipment operation and extending blade life. Below is a comprehensive blade installation guide, covering pre-installation preparation, the installation process, and precautions during use.

Pre-installation Preparation

Tool Preparation: Ensure all installation tools are complete and in good condition. For example, the hex wrench size must match the screws, and the rubber handle should be free of aging or cracks to ensure safe operation.

Component Cleaning: Use a soft cloth or compressed air to remove dust and metal shavings from the blade holder and blades, especially from threaded areas, to prevent impurities from affecting installation accuracy and blade performance.

Safety Confirmation: Ensure the equipment power is disconnected and the protective cover is locked to prevent accidents during installation.

Installation Process

Alignment: Align the blade groove with the drive shaft protrusion parallel to ensure the blade is correctly installed, avoiding imbalance and vibration caused by misalignment.

Pre-installation: Manually screw the fixing screw in to two-thirds of its depth to initially secure the blade for later adjustments.

Leveling: Use a thickness gauge to check the gap between the blade and the base, ensuring it is ≤0.1mm. This guarantees a tight fit between the blade and the base, reducing vibration and wear during operation.

Tightening: Tighten the screws in three increments of torque along a diagonal pattern to ensure the blade is securely fixed and to prevent safety hazards caused by loosening.

Verification: Manually rotate the blade three full rotations and check for any scraping noises to confirm correct installation.

Safety: Test the emergency stop button response time, ensuring it is ≤0.5 seconds to improve equipment safety.
