Precautions before using a saw blade

1. The machine should be in good condition, with no deformation or vibration of the spindle. The spindle diameter tolerance should be h7. A protective cover must be installed during use.

2. Operators should possess the necessary operating knowledge and be equipped with protective goggles. Pay attention to ties and cuffs; gloves are not allowed, and long hair must be covered with a work cap.

3. Inspect the saw teeth for any defects, missing teeth, abnormal wear, or abnormalities such as bending, twisting, or cracking of the saw disc.

4. During installation, ensure the saw blade's rotation direction is consistent with the machine spindle's rotation direction.

5. During installation, confirm that the selected saw blade is suitable for the cutting speed and feed rate of the material being cut (follow the recommendations in the text: first select the cutting speed and feed per tooth, then calculate the speed and feed per minute based on the saw blade's diameter and number of teeth).

6. Each time a flange is installed, ensure the flange surface is flat and clean, parallel to each other and perpendicular to the axis, and of consistent size. The minimum flange diameter should be 1/3 of the saw blade diameter, and the gasket should be perpendicular.

7. During installation, the saw blade should be at least equal to the height of the saw teeth above the material being cut.

8. When cross-cutting, at least three teeth should be cut simultaneously; otherwise, the saw blade will wobble.

9. The material being cut should be fixed in place during use. If abnormal sounds or vibrations, rough cut surfaces, or bending are detected, stop operation immediately, inspect, and troubleshoot the problem.

10. When the saw blade becomes dull and the cutting surface becomes rough, it must be re-sharpened promptly. During re-sharpening, the original angle must not be changed, and it must be re-sharpened by a reliable specialized manufacturer.

11. Extreme care must be taken during the packaging and unpacking of circular saw blades (e.g., with packaging machines), as the sharp blade can easily cause damage.

12. Appropriate packaging must be used when handling saw blades to prevent damage.
