Advantages of Utility Blade Blades
Utility blades are high-hardness blades with the following advantages:
High Hardness: Utility blades have a hardness of 65-70 HRC, easily cutting various materials such as fiberboard and metal sheets. They are not easily deformed and have a long service life.
Good Stability: Due to their high hardness, utility blades offer good stability during use and are less prone to wobbling or shaking, ensuring accurate line drawing.
Wide Applicability: Utility blades are suitable for various fields such as painting, handicrafts, printing, and collage, and have unique advantages, especially in model making, copperplate engraving, and stencil carving.
Susceptibility to Rust: While utility blades are hard, they are not resistant to humid environments. Prolonged disuse can lead to rust, affecting the blade's lifespan.
Requires Complete Replacement When the Blade Head is Damaged: Utility blades have a replaceable design, but when the blade head is damaged or worn, the entire blade needs to be replaced, making them relatively inflexible in use.
Inconvenient to change blades: Utility blades generally require a special blade changing tool, making them less convenient to change than some other utility blades.
